10. Sweetened Coffee Drinks

You're not the only one who needs to grab a coffee (or two) to function or think about commuting or talking to a coworker in the morning. Millions of us turn to the coffee maker every morning, groggy and bleary-eyed. Ping! We are awake and ready to take on the day.
Coffee is not inherently unhealthy. In fact, it is rich in antioxidants, which help improve our mood and keep us healthy.
The amount of calories we consume depends on how we choose to drink our coffee. If we drink very large cups of coffee with high-calorie dairy milks, high-calorie nut milks, sugar, and fancy syrups, we are consuming a lot of calories.
We can set ourselves up to exceed our calorie intake for the day if we consume one of these fancy coffees with another unhealthy breakfast choice. On the other hand, if we only eat black coffee for breakfast, not only are we in a calorie deficit, feeling less energetic, but we are also missing out on important nutrients, fiber and protein that a diet balanced and healthy provides.
