Mystery Fossils Sealed Earth's Deepest Hole Forever

The most famous borehole in the world, and one of the most famous works of the Soviet Union, is another masterpiece of the Soviet Union that attracts many tourists.

An expert found the temperature reached an incredible 460°F in this natural cave at 10,000 feet (3.05 km), but it doesn't stop there. As it goes deeper, the temperature also increases.

In the 1980s, Soviet experts abandoned the previous drilling task, but continued to explore here. Drilling depth here reached 44,000 feet (13.4 km) in 1990.
