After watching her morning show on television, Sophie's stomach started growling. Why wasn't her mother up and dancing in the kitchen yet? So she decided to check it out one more time.

"Mom ?" Sophie asked worriedly as she approached her mother's bedroom door. She carefully climbed onto the bed. “Mom,” she repeated, shaking her mother’s shoulders. But there was no response. She walked over to the bed and carefully climbed onto it. At this point, she started to become more and more worried.
