There were only two of them, Sophie, a four-year-old, and Hanna, her mother. Sophie's father had never been in the photo. He had left as soon as Hanna found out she was pregnant. But he didn't miss it. She always made sure to take good care of her daughter.
Dancing in the kitchen
Usually, they woke up together in the morning to have breakfast, and Hanna played music and danced in the kitchen with her daughter while Sophie went to daycare and Hanna went to work. But today was different, and Sophie could feel it right away.
