After the third knock, Sophie noticed that the door moved a little. A fourth knock hit the door, sending dividers flying. Sophie quickly closed her eyes again, realizing that they were trying to break down the door.
A sudden stop
As Sophie opened her eyes, she realized the door was still in place after noticing a sudden stop to the knocking. She heard the police talking to each other, but they didn't sound right, so they had to find another solution. Because breaking down the door didn't seem to work, they had to find another solution.
