14. Get Clean Edges with Duct Tape

In the absence of skill, it is difficult to get a straight and clean putty edge. This can be done with painter's tape. Simply apply it above and below the area, apply and smooth the filler and remove it while it is still damp. Otherwise, the putty may tear and the straight line may be damaged.
